Girona has a very intense gay life, increased by all the tourist that go there for holidays every year. Unlike other parts in Spain where all the gay business are all in the same area, here they are spread around the entire province and mostly outside villages, in hidden houses. If you wish to visit more than one per night, a car is absolutely necessary. We have to mention the big amount of secluded beaches, far from the more family beaches, where you can practise nudism & cruising. Sant Pere Pescador's nudist beach, Pals' nudist beach or Lloret's nudist beach are great examples. Lloret is the village with more gay business of the province. There, you will find a big amount of local gays plus plenty visitors from all parts of the world. As well as coffee bars, clubs or discos, you can find gay friendly hotels, guest houses or apartments and beautiful areas and beaches where you can do some cruising. You can find gay bars, gay clubs or gay discos and also gay / gayfriendly hotels, gay / gayfriendly pensions or gay / gayfriendly apartments of all prices to stay and areas or beaches where you can practice cruising. Figueres is also a place with a lot of action, due to it's situation near the border.
